HOUSTON – A Houston-area Uber driver has quite the story to tell following an incident earlier this month.
\n\nUber driver Anthony Baines shared a video showing a suspect running in front of his vehicle and two officers chasing behind the suspect.
\n\nOne of the officers jumped into Baines' vehicle and told him to go after the suspect, saying, "Go, go, go, go!"
\n\nAn Uber driver shared a video with FOX 26 showing Houston Police Department officers commandeering his vehicle while they were in pursuit of a fleeing suspect.
\n\nAccording to Houston police, the incident started with a terroristic threat call made on Seventh Street back on August 7.
\n\nAuthorities said a woman was at a pool with her kids when the suspect came out of an apartment and they got into an altercation. At one point, officials said, the suspect allegedly threatened to shoot them, so the woman called authorities.
\n\nPolice came to get a statement from the woman when the suspect reappeared. The officers attempted to detain the suspect, but the suspect reportedly broke free and took off on foot, beginning the pursuit.
