\n\nThe rapidly growing Hawk Fire has burned more than 10,500 acres near Reno, prompting widespread evacuations and a state of emergency, with nearly 42,000 residents reportedly ordered to evacuate.
\n\nOfficials announced on Sunday that the fire is human-caused, and half a dozen injuries have been reported, including three civilians and three firefighters.
\n\nThousands of residents are without power, and authorities are working to determine how many structures have already been lost.
\n\nThe fire ignited Saturday near Peavine Mountain northwest of Reno and has been fueled by strong winds, low humidity and dry vegetation.
